Peter Kempner is an experienced real estate professional and a managing partner/co-founder at Kempner Properties, with over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. Along with his brother Jim, Peter has been instrumental in driving the company’s success through his hands-on approach to acquisition, financing, management, and leasing of the portfolio. He believes in a direct involvement in every aspect of the business, resulting in a low-leveraged portfolio with over 95% occupancy. Peter’s expertise in acquiring properties at or below replacement cost has helped the company purchase properties with rents that are at or below market levels, providing protection during difficult leasing market periods. Peter attended Ithaca College and is a member of The International Council of Shopping Centers.
